Jagruti Savant (b. 1996, Mumbai) is a Los Angeles-based photo artist exploring capitalism, systemic racism, love and femininity. Influenced by her cultural heritage and personal experiences, she embraces a raw creative process as rejecting capitalist excess. Her passion for photography began with her maternal grandfather, a professional photographer and artist. Savant holds a bachelor’s in Animation and Visual Effects from Mumbai and an MFA in Photography from the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles.
